• The second stage of “Saber” platform’s sign up

    Dear/ members of the Chamber

     

     

    Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. 1732 dated 12/7/1440, which referred to the letter of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization No. (5463 / p) dated (11/7/1440) on the second phase of the obligation to register in "Saber platform," which will be effective from 25/7 / 1440 (1/4/2019) for the following technical regulations:

     

    -Gulf Technical Regulation for low voltage electrical equipment.

    -Gulf Technical Regulations for Children's toys.

    -Technical Regulations for Lubricating Oils.

     

    According to the Authority, there is an obligation to obtain the required certificates of conformity and consignment certificates for consumer goods whether imported or locally manufactured for the above-mentioned products from the Saber platform.

    The General Authority of Customs will not accept the entry of any product subject to these regulations in the event that it does not obtain the required certificates from the Saber platform.
